Tacos are a delicious way to blend wonderful textures and flavors together. I'd say about four or five years ago I discovered walnut meat and it is an amazing meat substitute! I use it in place of everything you would use a meat style crumble for, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joes, chili and most importantly tacos!
I've started creating videos of myself making meals here and there. The other day I made what I refer to as one of my lazy dinners. If you're interested in a glimpse of what I do in the kitchen, here is your window via video. In this video I made a Beyond Sausage Pita with a cucumber garlic aioli everything is vegan, gluten free and delicious!
The other day I was watching an episode of Chopped and one of the ingredients that the chefs had to use from their baskets was a bloody mary. If you've never seen the show before, it's where four chefs compete in a cooking competition and they have to use ingredients presented to them in baskets.

I've recently developed a love affair with mushrooms, especially ones that you can pan fry and they taste like scallops. I decided to pair them with a zucchini pasta to keep it light and lovely. Originally I was looking for King Oyster mushrooms but couldn't find them at the store. I found King Trumpets and... Continue Reading →

After pureeing it in the food processor, I literally scraped off the sides with a spatula and licked off all the sauce. This may... Continue Reading →
I bought a spiralizer a while back when I decided that I was sick of using a julienne hand peeler to make zucchini noodles/zoodles. You can never have enough kitchen gadgets, am I right? Well, maybe you can... Anyway, if you're looking for something a bit healthier than actual pasta noodles, zoodles are the way... Continue Reading →
