I have an obsession with peppers; hot peppers, sweet peppers, floral tasting peppers, pick a peck of pickled peppers and give them to me! I recently have jumped on the shishito pepper train. The shishito is a more floral pepper, but one in every ten peppers or so surprises you with a wake up call of hotness and it’s great!
I’ve been out of town for the past week and this is the first chance I’ve had to sit down and get back to writing on the blog. Had a whirlwind of a weekend in Boston where we went to the PAX East convention. PAX East is a video game and tabletop convention that Alpha and I have attended for the past two years. It’s a blast getting to see all the new games coming out, and to meet up with our friends we have met from all over the world on the live streaming platform Twitch.
Today was my first day back at work and it was good to see everyone, but I wish I could be on a permanent vacation. I’m sure most people do, but alas we have things such as bills, living costs and responsibilities.
Anyway back to the shishito peppers, these are so easy to make! They are a delicious snack, a nice appetizer or compliment to a meal. I love these peppers, I want more now but I ate them all!
