Vegan Shamrock Shake

It's that time of year for the Shamrock Shake. So in the words of Frank "The Tank" from Old School, "Fill it up again! Fill it up again! Once it hits your lips, it's so good!"

Mushroom Orzo with Coconut Harissa Sauce

Mushroom Orzo is a meal that I make often, I am constantly tweaking and altering the recipe for this. Last night I made it and it came out beautifully. Normally I make a coconut curry sauce, but I was out of the curry paste I typically use. I used harissa instead, oh man did it turn out just as good if not better.

Sweet and Sour Stir-Fry

When I think of sweet and sour sauce, I'm transported back in time to being a kid and going out to eat with the family. We'd go to a Chinese restaurant and get a number of delicious dishes, along with wonton soup and egg rolls. I really enjoy taking dishes that I loved as a kid and veganizing them.

Chocolate Raspberry Cups

Decadent chocolate, raspberry sauce and a pinch of sea salt to tantalize your tastebuds just in time for Valentine's Day. These Chocolate Raspberry Cups are a symphony of sweetness whirled in a dreamstate of satisfaction. Whether you're in a relationship or not, treat yourself or maybe share them with a loved one.

Walnut Meat Tacos

Tacos are a delicious way to blend wonderful textures and flavors together. I'd say about four or five years ago I discovered walnut meat and it is an amazing meat substitute! I use it in place of everything you would use a meat style crumble for, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joes, chili and most importantly tacos!

Beyond Sausage Pita

I've started creating videos of myself making meals here and there. The other day I made what I refer to as one of my lazy dinners. If you're interested in a glimpse of what I do in the kitchen, here is your window via video. In this video I made a Beyond Sausage Pita with a cucumber garlic aioli everything is vegan, gluten free and delicious!

Bloody Mary Pasta

The other day I was watching an episode of Chopped and one of the ingredients that the chefs had to use from their baskets was a bloody mary. If you've never seen the show before, it's where four chefs compete in a cooking competition and they have to use ingredients presented to them in baskets.

Chopped Greek Salad

There's something about a chopped salad that just tastes better to me than a normal salad. Don't get me wrong, I love me some salad, but something about the symmetry and food poetry of the chopped salad speaks to me.
