Quick Dinner Bites

What is a quick meal bite? These are the meals that I make when I don't want to spend more then maybe 10-15 minutes in the kitchen. I wanted to share a few things that I make that are quick and simple. You can alter them to how you like, basically you can personalize it to your tastes.

Chocolate Raspberry Cups

Decadent chocolate, raspberry sauce and a pinch of sea salt to tantalize your tastebuds just in time for Valentine's Day. These Chocolate Raspberry Cups are a symphony of sweetness whirled in a dreamstate of satisfaction. Whether you're in a relationship or not, treat yourself or maybe share them with a loved one.

Walnut Meat Tacos

Tacos are a delicious way to blend wonderful textures and flavors together. I'd say about four or five years ago I discovered walnut meat and it is an amazing meat substitute! I use it in place of everything you would use a meat style crumble for, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joes, chili and most importantly tacos!

Beyond Sausage Pita

I've started creating videos of myself making meals here and there. The other day I made what I refer to as one of my lazy dinners. If you're interested in a glimpse of what I do in the kitchen, here is your window via video. In this video I made a Beyond Sausage Pita with a cucumber garlic aioli everything is vegan, gluten free and delicious!

Strawberry Cherry Ginger Smoothie

I do not make enough smoothies. Every time that I do make them I'm reminded of how delicious and simple they are to make. I had a bunch of strawberries that were sitting in the fridge and I wanted to do something with them, so I decided to make a smoothie.

Bloody Mary Pasta

The other day I was watching an episode of Chopped and one of the ingredients that the chefs had to use from their baskets was a bloody mary. If you've never seen the show before, it's where four chefs compete in a cooking competition and they have to use ingredients presented to them in baskets.

Chopped Greek Salad

There's something about a chopped salad that just tastes better to me than a normal salad. Don't get me wrong, I love me some salad, but something about the symmetry and food poetry of the chopped salad speaks to me.

New Year, New Inspiration

This past year has flown by in a whirlwind. The holidays have cruised by with New Year's Eve approaching in a few days. It's been a bit crazy and I haven't had a whole lot of time to put together new recipes due to the holidays and life stuff happening. Once we ring in 2019,... Continue Reading →

Olive Bruschetta Pesto Pasta

Sometimes I dream of pasta, there's something about a plate or bowl full of noodles whether they are simply dressed or dressed to kill that satisfies the soul. I had bruschetta and olives on the brain and decided that I would combine those flavors and make an olive pesto and bruschetta style pasta. Olive Bruschetta... Continue Reading →
